First and foremost, let me give credit where credit is due, my good ol' tropa Brian V for sharing their PPV via Skype. Thanks a lot! (With the recent "delayed promise", I was not able to purchase the PPV channel for the bout. Of course, I am just making an excuse for not wanting to spend even a dime for a boxing match. Well, this blog is all about excuses. Excuses that I can find on how majority of Pinoys handled this Pacquiao "Loss")
How can I blame Manny Pacquiao, let me count the ways...
I blame Manny for putting up phenomenal fights before this.
I blame the "Pambansang Kamao" for giving world-class fighters the beating of their lives. For giving us, Flipinos, the perfection in a boxing glove. For making us witness the fastest punches in the planet, with the stingiest left hand in all of boxing. I blame PACMAN for showing us that one does not need a power pellet to bust out "ghost monsters".
I blame him for opening up wounds after wounds of countless warriors inside the squared circle, that led our countrymen believe and lean back on comfort after seeing domination after domination of challengers and oppositions.
I blame Pacman, for growing his hair long that every shot he ducks, his hair flies off, as if hit hard. I blame him for making Marquez land majority of shots to his gloves and elbows.
I blame you for letting this fight go the distance, for leaving some of our fellow Pinoys, who bought cinema tickets to see you dominate your arch-nemesis, disappointed.
I blame the Fighting Pride of the Philippines for not ducking Marquez, for not avoiding this third bout. I blame him for retaining Freddie Roach as a trainer. I blame him for not taking in substance (other than urine, which is Marquez' trademark) to enhance his performance.
Yes Manny. YOU are to be blamed for making this nation think you are Superman. That you made them forget that even Superman has his Kryptonite.
After this "escape" of a win, I blame you for waking up the fighting spirit of the biggest ego in all of boxinglandia, the bravest of all the fighters of this age, Floyd Mayweather Jr. He had destroyed your Kryptonite before you, and "you can't even land a devastating shot" on JuanMa Marquez (those cuts and swelling on JuanMa's face are just prostethics, Manny is weak, his punches cannot do that anymore). How could you let that happen?
I can think of many other things to blame you for, it is just almost midnight, and I can think straight no more... AND I BLAME YOU TOO FOR THAT!
ADDENDUM...
Pacquiao = 578 punches connecting 176
Marquez= 436 punches connecting 138
JABS
Pacquiao = 304 jabs connecting 59
Marquez = 182 jabs connecting 38.
POWER PUNCHES
Pacquiao = 274 power punches connecting 117
Marquez = 254 power punches connecting 100

This Line Surely Reveals My Age...
Well, while toy hunting during the last few days of my stay in the US, I bumped into these two figures (Sgt Stalker and an Iron Grenadier) from the 30th Anniversary line of one of my favorite toys in the 80s and early 90s, G.I. Joe. It was the "Real American Hero" line back in those days. I lost all of my vintage Joes, through over playing and my youngest sister's wrecklessness. Anyway, I am just glad that the line is alive and kickin'.
I started "re-collecting" the line via the Sigma 6 8inch line, and shortly there after, the 25th Anniversary line. After the 25th Anniv line, they issued out a general non-anniversary themed lines, then the movie Rise of Cobra line came out. As a continuity line, Pursuit of Cobra came out (I got some figures from this line too, most of the earlier lines I sold, but thanks to my good ol' tropa Brian V., I got most of the earlier line figures).
I just can't believe it's 5 years already after the 25th Anniversary line. I am really growing old... LOLz!
Sgt Stalker and Iron Grenadier. I got these 2 babies from Target Newpark Mall in Newark, California. I was not planning to start the line. I actually skipped, a Hazard Viper and bunch of Skystrikers and VAMPs along the way. So the itch for the Anniversary figures grew on me...
There is no other fitting end-statement for my blog but this...

Thanks to Greattoys shop in Festival Mall and their branch-wide sale, i was able to continue and complete wave 1 of the 30th Anniversary Joes...
I did mention about the Greattoys shop sale right? Yeah, and most of my current on-hand in Manila was from their sale except Jungle Viper and Snake Eyes/Timber. I have all of my other POCs and wave 2 30th Anniversary/Renegades line in-transit from California. I can't wait for them too...
Sorry for the crappy picture below, I was lazy again to crop the other non-POC items...
YOOOOOOOOO JOE!

Hello Blogworld!
It's been a while... After visiting San Diego, my schedule had either beem busy, or I am just being lazy like a big bellied fat guy (hey, that was me!).
Just arrived yesterday morning, after >12 hours flight back to Manila. Still feeling sleepy. But here I am in the office, blogging, errr, yeah, blogging after a few sets of reports. Still feeling the fatigue from the trip, and the stress seeing my Sentinel box somehow received some damage in transit. One little semi-hole in the other side of the Joe Quesada box art. Grrrrr!!! It is small, but I think it is noticeable. And yeah I broke the box handle too. Grrrr! Anyway, should not be a biggy for some people, but it sure bothers me. I will try to get some pictures later.
Oh, looking at the brighter side of things, I got home to my mom and sisters, and they missed me!!! LOLz! Morcon and Leche Flan welcomed me, and my tita's Bistek Tagalog and Pochero a few hours after the Morcon and Leche Flan. Oh Yeah!!!
OOOH! It's 9:17PM, I will be outta here in no time... 43 minutes more...

A Day Before San Diego...
After almost 3 years of trying to visit my good ol' "tropa" (since Kindergarten, still going strong), Brian Andrus V. Villanueva, it will culminate tonight! YEAH! SAN DIEGO, GET READY FOR SOME MOLYBDENUM/XACRED SOULZ (still remember this Bree or you buried it in the pits of darkness?), reunion!!! LOLz!

Bay Area is Supposed to be Warrior's Territory, right?
WRONG! Because I got 2 Lakers-inspired colourway kicks in the Bay Area. 1st one is the Adidas Crazy 8 (please see my previous post), and the 2nd one, Zoom Kobe 6 - Imperial Purple.
Let me talk my way to the picture, and tell you a short story. These guys from the Footlocker group of stores (Footlocker-House of Hoops, Footaction and Champs), have this habit of talking like you were tropa, like close friends. This guy, which I failed to get the name, was talking to me, and asked me if I am a Kobe fan. I responded, "Yeah, I am, through thick and thin." "Oh yeah," he responded, "I am a Dwight Howard fan." I answered back, "Oh so next season, get ready to shift to LA." "No kidding man?!!!" (calls one of his associates), "Hey, is Dwight going to LA?". The other guy responded, "Possibly." "Oh man?! Really?!" Other guy with a smirk, "I said: Possibly!" The one attending to me, looks back at me: "Man, as much I don't want to root for LA, I have no choice. If DH will be in LA, then I should be an LA fan." "Get ready to wear purple and gold man." "Ayt bro." Packs my 2 pairs, and we went to the cashier. On my way out, I looked back at him: "See you in LA man!" He just laughed while shaking his head.
Too much talk there... here's the kicks, as promised:

While All were Going Gaga over Shamcey...
I went loco on this Crazy...
A Foot Action Exclusive Crazy 8, and in the colourways of my Lakers, it's hard to turn this baby down. But as Shamcey landed at the 4th spot, the kicks pictured above landed fairly better from the rest of what I got today. I can say it's 3rd among the 5 I got. What are the other 4? Stick around...

Human Alliance Skids with Arcee and Mikaela Banes
Human Alliance... bow. Dependencies and mutual relationships. To stand for a common belief to the extent of building camarederie. To trust one another. To be friends. That is how I understood Human Alliance. But we are not in a sociology discussion, rather, this post is just to tell the cyberworld about how I got this new baby.
Remember my friend with cyber-phobia? Yeah, he got me this(ese) baby(ies). A true definition of Human Alliance! But because he believes so much in cyber-secrets, I will still keep his anonymity, I will just give several more clues. He is a chubby guy, a little chubbier than me. I am cuter by a mile though. Anyway, to you, my fat bellied wolf friend. Thank you!!!

Captain America... Minted in Box... Never Open
Wait a minute... Let me make sure we are talking about the same Steve Rogers here.... <clicks the Selling thread title...>
Yeah, so we are talking about an unopened Marvel Legends Series 1 Captain America by Toybiz. I thought we are talking about a new flavor of donut or coffee. MINTED! I knew Captain America is cool, well, cold once, when he was frozen inside an iceberg. OOOH! To some extent, that is what he meant. Captain America was frozen, minted. MY BAD!
I am reading until the very end of his post... NO I CAN'T! PLEASE!!! If you are going to make me read that post, I'd rather be in suspended animation... in an iceberg... MINTED.

How LOW would you go for a Human Alliance Jazz...
I wrote this as a reaction to a forum post from someone looking for this item. And some thoughts, that I opted to write down.
I have been eyeing this item ever since I got the Human Alliance Roadbuster and the price marked down Bumblebee from TJ Maxx. I have their picture together below:
I have Leadfoot in San Diego c/o my good old "tropa" Brian Villanueva (who is the only one subscribed to my blog as of this writing, a true friend), and a Skids back in Manila c/o another friend who wants to remain anonymous in the cyber-world, which is actually a complete irony, because he works for a big telecoms and broadband company in Manila, no Facebook, no Blogspace, but he uses email once in a while though. Anyway, back to my story.
Since I have already started this, I have been eyeing some toys from this line, particularly, Human Alliance Jazz. Jazz and Barricade (which I am having doubts that I will be getting it because he is a Decepticon), are the priciest one in ebay. So I put my budget as $30 to 50 for Jazz. $25 is a lucky steal if I can find it. So in pesos, I can go for PhP1250 to PhP2500 for it. So I am browsing ebay auctions, facebook posts from TF collector buddies, Forums... and I bumped into this post that is looking for the same thing, a Human Alliance Jazz. Just to give you a background, this forum is known for hagglers, scalpers and idealist alike. And he was asking for it at the PhP800 price point!!! LOWER THAN HOW FREAKIN' SKIDS AND BUMBLEBEE ON CLEARANCE SALE IN MANILA!!! HOW LOW CAN YOU GET???!!!! I don't know, being practical is one thing, but being cheap is another.
On this topic, I know that times are difficult now. This hobby can really be a burden nowadays. But, man! Please have the decency or the intelligence to know what you are asking for. This is a microcosm of our society. There are people who opted to live, but does not want to pay or work hard for something, or simply just ask for the things they want, like and need on their own terms. Yeah, some people may not be that blessed to get what they want or like, or even what they need, but we should know our place, and know our limits. The problem with some people, is they bite more than they can chew or swallow, then complain. Some even complain while their mouth is full! (I am cool don't worry. :D)
If you are going to say that it's their right to ask for the price they want, I am telling you now, I also have the right to write what I feel on this and I also have the right to complain, ok? Peace! :D

Thundercats... The Drifter and the Duelist
I remembered Thundercats when i was still a kid, but can't quite remember that it was better than He-Man or GI Joe or Voltron or TMNT or Ghostbusters (back then, time slot could have been an issue as well). They re-did this cartoon series and it had become far better than all the other remakes of the other series I just mentioned.
The latest episode proves again my point. The story-telling, the plot and character-building are just awesome. I just finished episode 8, which is the title of my post today. I just love this new series. I used to download it via Hotel Wi-Fi, but network security has become tighter here, so i have to be contented in watching it in youtube.
I got all the action figures (3.75", 6", 8" Classics and even the 14" Classic Lion-o), and even the mighty Thundertank. I planned to review the Thundertank and post my review here, but I am still too lazy to get a review on board. Maybe after I get a ZK6 Lower Merion and my Chaos replaced, I can do that review. But for now, all I can sa y is:
THUNDER THUNDER THUNDERCATS! HOOOOOO!!!!

Kobe 6 Lower Merion droppin' in Daly City on Monday...
Hmmm... I need to plan something... Should I drive to Daly City, and work in Richmond Monday??? Hmmm... I just hope they release this in other non-HOH Footlocker branches. I will call them up later...
I can't believe I am doing this in CA, lining up for a sneaker. I just hope it will not be difficult for me. LOLz!

Kobe's on Twitter... need to get a Twitter account too...
Saw this from Kevin Ding's article in the Orange County Register. He didn't like the Black Mambas first Tweet "Can you hear me now?"... I would have to say, it's more of a HISS, than a Tweet. :P
10. Can you hear me now?!?! No? What about now? I'm clinking my five NBA championship rings together like wind chimes.
9. I have decided to take my talent – that was MY line first back at Lower Merion in ‘96, btw, @KingJames – to Twitter! (I personally love this. Sorry LBJ fan friends. LOLz)
8. No one can do anything for “I'm bored,” but my mission: Take the next-lamest Tweet, “Time to hit the gym!” and actually inspire with it.
7. Hello, Twitter world! I love you all (except @SHAQ, @adidasUS and @celtics)!!!
6. I'm here, but I frankly don't see how I can keep it real. Every other word I say in real life, for humor or malice, is a curse word. #exceptwithdaughters
5. Next 100,000 followers get free Nike T-shirts. You wouldn't believe how many shirts with my own picture I have lying around here.
4. Me in 1998: “Why would you ever play if you don't want to be the best player who ever lived?” Same as it ever was.
3. How many Tweets do you really expect me to type in here? Have you SEEN my fingers? (LOLz!)
2. My avatar of a black mamba crushing Twitter's blue bird isn't enough. Watch this real mamba kill a real bird! youtube.com/watch?v=HHt0ZiaSXo4
1. I hear Twitter is a place with a lot of love – and a lot of hate. Perfect for me. LOL.

What a week so far...
Sept 6, Tuesday: The most shocking news I ever heard in my supply chain career... I prefer not to divulge it here, it still suck the energy and fire outta me until this early morning of Thursday. Focusing is hard. Gotta get my bearings back though.
Sept 7, Wednesday: UFC news, got me going somehow!
Brock Lesnar vs Alistair Overeem for Dec 30th UFC fight card. Now, this got me going a bit. But nah, Dana White is giving Brock a decent retirement fight. The best exit fight for an Ex-UFC Champ is to be retired by the Ex-Strikeforce champ, and current K-1 champ. Win or lose, Brock will be remembered after this, no doubt about it.
Nick Diaz was pulled out of their UFC Welterweight Championship match on Oct 29th against the champ, Georges St Pierre. For whatever reason, I am just glad that the UFC eliminated a chance to have a scumbag for a champion. Good riddance Nick Diaz!

There is a reason why they called it Chaos...
First and foremost, before I went here in the US of A, I was aiming to get this Zoom Kobe 6 Supreme release. The Joker-inspired Nike Zoom Kobe 6 colourway: Ink/Volt-Dark Grey-White, or you can simply call it the Chaos, so you don't have to re-read the technical colourway title. I got it last Sunday, September 4th, during the long Labor Day weekend.
It came in the black Venomenon box:
This is the first reason, why, I think, they called this Chaos. When I saw this in House of Hoops in Daly City, CA, I was like, "No kidding, I went here just for this pair (I hope my boss is not reading this though), but... but... it is size 14, I am just size 12, at most 13 for ZK6s, but no... no... this is a chance of a lifetime, these were never released in Manila, it's now or never..." So I got a shoe that is at least a size bigger than my size, chaotic, right?
So the Fil-Am guy (yeah, he claimed to be Half-Pinoy, but he looked more like Dela Hoya than Pacman), offered me this Gel-Insole, and because of the current chaotic environment, I bought that freakin' gel insole, I don't have a photo of it already, 'coz I returned it the following day to the nearby Footlocker (thanks to the very customer-friendly return policy here). Yeah, that gel insole just cost 9 dollars in Walmart, wow, and I initially bought those for $19.99! Another chaotic moment for this purchase.
So it's 12MN now, I will just post the pics of the actual shoe, which, I am thinking of returning, AGAIN, if my friend, who ebays for us, will get me the right size (US12) for $159.99. If not, then I will have to buy those Walmart insoles, and live a chaotic life thereafter...
That's all for now... hope you enjoyed the Chaos, 'coz I am trying to enjoy it, until all is finalized... :D
